Product Concept

The G.R.A.N.D sunglasses, based on a large square frame, transform "The Sun, the Moon and One Star," a sculpture composed of Joan Miró's beloved star, moon, and sun elements, into an aesthetic detail. The trident-like star at the top of the sculpture becomes the Japanese five-barrel hinge connecting the lens and the temple. The frame, referencing the sculpture's mixed media composition, subtly blends handmade acetate with metal details. This frame shape cleverly refines round face shapes, enhancing visual depth while maintaining a touch of gentleness in its details. The gradual green lenses soften the cold, hard metallic feel, making them perfectly suitable even when paired with a dress.
